Mass of Induction

I am pleased to announce that my induction as Parish Priest of St. Francis of Assisi, Handsworth will take place on Tuesday 4^th November 2025 at 7pm in our Parish Church. Please keep the date free and be part of this historic celebration for our Parish community

Ministry of the Word: The new rotas for the period 5/10/25-28/12/25 are now ready. A copy is on the notice board in the porch, and both paper and electronic versions have been posted. Please check your schedule dates and arrange cover if you cannot make your assigned time.

Citizens UK Birmingham

Will hold their surgery here on the second Sunday of every month from 09:00 -10:30 am in the “Fallon Room”. They offer free and confidential advice on housing, benefits, jobs and public services.

Notice of Funeral Arrangement

In your charity, pray for the peaceful repose of the soul of Louis Campbell, whose funeral Mass will take place on Thursday 16th October 2025 at 10:30am and burial afterwards at Handsworth Cemetery.

Sacramental Preparation

All those who wish to be part of the RCIA programme this year, as well as parents whose children are preparing for First Holy Communion but are not attending a catholic school, are invited to meet with me on Thursday, 16^th October at 5.00pm in Msgr. Fallon’s room.
